Caring for a loved one who needs constant care strains even the most resilient people.
Managing stressful work and the needs of growing up children can take a toll on your well being.
We understand your needs.
We can help you to find the right caregiver to take care of your loved ones at the comfort of your home.
Our caregivers come from approved source countries including Myanmar, Indonesia, Philippines and India.
Gladsome Employment has employees with different levels of skills and experiences:
a) Helpers who are trained and experienced in household chores, children care and elderly care.
b) Certified Nurse Aides who have attended training in their home countries or in Singapore. They have experience in caring for the elderly with conditions such as stroke, dementia, cancer or diabetes.
Our caregivers have prior overseas working experience in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong or Middle East countries.
Communication is key to a good match. We make sure that the caregivers are either conversant in English or Mandarin. Should you require caregivers who can speak dialects such as Hokkein or Cantonese, we can help you find the match too.
How do I start?
1. Call us and let us understand your needs
2. We will find your match
- We will find caregivers who suit your family needs and who are willing to take up your job requirements.
- You can interview the shortlisted caregivers through video or phone to assess their suitability further.
- Once you have confirmed your selected caregiver, we will proceed with the necessary paperwork and procedures to bring your caregiver to your doorstep.
3. During employment
- We will continue to monitor your caregiver’s employment with you after handing her over to you. For continuous improvement, you can sign your caregiver up for approved courses to better care for your loved ones.
What are the costs involved?
- Salary of the Caregivers
The basic salary ranges from S$600 to S$900, depending on caregiver’s qualification and experience. This excludes the cost of providing basic necessities and food for the caregivers which is to be borne by the employer.
- Our Package Fee
Please call us to find out about our package fee for caregivers based on your preferred nationalities.
- Levy
- As an employer, you don’t have to pay Central Provident Fund (CPF) contributions for your helper. However, you must pay a monthly levy for her.
- You can reduce the cost of the monthly levy from S$265/month to S$60/month if you qualify for any of the MOM approved schemes
- Young child or grandchild scheme
- Aged person scheme
- Persons with disabilities scheme
Grants
You can tap on the government subsidies and funds to help with the cost.
- If you are eligible, you can get S$120/month for that extra pair of hands to care for your loved ones who require permanent assistance with three or more Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) under the Foreign Domestic Worker Grant.
- You can also tap on the Caregivers Training Grant which gives a $200 annual subsidy that can be used by caregivers to attend approved courses to better care for their loved ones.
Speak to us and we can provide advice on other grants that may be available to you.
